Nearly Vegan Weight Loss Plan

Hi - I have been eyeballing your vegan weight loss plan for several months after I read the "Kind Diet" and began flirting with vegetarianism. I call myself "nearly-vegan" as I can NOT kick my friends pet chickens' farm eggs.

I have given up all dairy, nearly all white products and including sugar, and increased my veggie repertoire. I did take off nearly 25lbs but have been at a standstill for 2 months. Still 55lbs more to lose. I may just be about the only nearly vegan fat chick and it sucks.

I am not perfect and occasionally have white pasta or Italian bread - yes, I'm Italian and love me some garlic knots every blue moon.

Do you think your plan can really help me? Around Thanksgiving you also offered a promotion and again I came close to ordering since this was my 1st major holiday, but I did well and made vegan sides for myself including a Vegan Pumpkin Pie! It wasn't as tough as I thought it might be.

If you honestly believe that at 200lbs and following your plan I can get even healthier by shedding this excess weight than I will order your plan.

Sassy Sez: Hi Karen! Great to hear from you. And congratulations on all you have done to lose 25 pounds - that's fantastic! I hope you are taking some time to pat yourself on the back. Because you now know that you have what it takes to succeed at this. You just might need a little direction.

It sounds like you are doing some very good things for yourself; increasing veggie intake, cutting back on white flour products, removing sugar. It is perfectly normal to hit a plateau for a bit, but if it goes on much longer and you find the weight is simply not budging, then you need to take a closer look at the rest of your diet.

Not only is it important to REMOVE some foods from your diet when you go vegan, but it can be perhaps more important to be sure you are adding some very important foods and nutrients back in. And I think that is where my vegan weight loss plan Get Down With Sass! will help you the most.

Rather than trying to learn and do everything at once, you will be discovering the actions you should take on a weekly basis to get you to your goal, such as the foods you should eat to ensure proper nutrient intake, how to begin an exercise program (and make it fun too), and so much more -- all presented in baby steps so you are never overwhelmed.

So do I think this course will help? Yes.

Can I guarantee it will work for you? Well, I can certainly do my best - I offer a 100% money-back guarantee.

Giant hugs to you, Karen!

Social Situations
by: Karen

Hi Sass,
You have one of the best vegan sites I've seen. I am THIS close to ordering your weight loss plan, but I have a question. Does your plan have tips to cover social situations? That's where I always get derailed in my veganism. I see lots of tips on the web about restaurants, but that's not usually the problem for me--it's visiting out of town omnivore children and staying at their homes. Also, just traveling in general is challenging. There are more and more options (much better than it used to be), but it's still difficult to find things without a ton of oil or sugar when you're on the road. And I live with my elderly omnivore father, who I cook for, so that's a challenge, too. And nobody in my small town is vegan (well, maybe there's somebody I don't know about :) ), so all local social situations are stressful. Any advice would be so helpful. Thank you!

Vegan life...

Hi Karen!

I see you're all signed up and ready to go in class. Yay! You're going to enjoy our weight loss course. Thank you!

To your question...

One of the most fabulous aspects of ALL of our classes is our super-friendly helpful and unique forums. When you're a student, you can ask ANY questions you like. It doesn't have to be specific to that particular class.

Our students end up being one of the family! We'll be here for you, no matter what you need.

So on that note, be sure to ask ANY questions you have as you make your way through the class.

By the by, I have a TON of experience being vegan on the road. And I'm happy to help in any way I can.

Looking forward to getting to know you! :) xo!
