How To Make Steamed Turnips

Making steamed turnips are one of my favorite ways to prepare turnips because they cook up so fast and you don't have to watch them -- just set the timer and let them do their thing.

Place the peeled, whole turnips in a steamer. Cook for 15-25 minutes. This short cooking time works for smaller turnips.

Larger turnips can also be quartered or cut into large dice before steaming. Turnips are done when they're tender to your liking.
