Steamed Greens

When making steamed greens you can choose to use the stalks or not.

If using the stalks, remove from the veggie and cut into 1-2" pieces. Cook the stalks first for about 5 minutes until tender and wilted.

The leaves should be done steaming in 5-10 minutes, depending on the green - some are more tough than others. Generally, greens are done when they turn a bright color.
