Sautéed Broccoli

Before making your sautéed broccoli it can be chopped small or large, or left as florets. The only difference in the cooking process is how long it will take (the smaller cuts will be done very quickly).

Place a frying pan with a lid over medium heat. Add a little extra-virgin olive oil (1 teaspoon should do it), or simply use water or veggie broth.

If you'd like to cook your broccoli with onions and garlic, add them to the pan first when the liquid is hot, along with cut broccoli stems (if using since they take longer to cook than florets). Next, add the florets and sauté until crisp tender, stirring occasionally. Large cuts will take approximately 5 minutes.

Now comes the fun part. Use the Broccoli "Vegan Flavor Matches" to create your very own recipe. Add the foods and flavors you like directly to your pan. Warm. Serve.
