Pureed Spinach

Pureed spinach is used extensively in Indian food, and is a wonderful technique to use for homemade baby food, or anytime a recipe calls for it.

Although you can buy it canned, why not learn how to whip it up yourself? Canned foods are convenient, but there's nothing quite like the fresh taste and health benefits of raw spinach transformed by your own two hands.

This cooking technique requires two steps.

  1. You begin by first boiling your spinach. Drain well.
  2. Place cooked and drained spinach in a blender or food processor. Blend while adding water, veggie broth, or non-dairy milk to the blender until the texture is to your liking.

Use the Spinach "Vegan Flavor Matches" to create your very own spinach recipe.
