Magefesa Pressure Cooker Gasket

My question is about a Magefesa pressure cooker gasket. I inherited a big Megafesa Pressure Cooker with the cross bar on the lid that you turn to tighten. The gasket does not appear to be a solid piece (I can see a seam) and it does not come out like the ones pictured on the website.

I have been afraid to pull it out for fear of not being able to put it back or replace it.

Can you give me some guidance as to where to get a new gasket, if in fact it is not a solid piece and who to contact to get a replacement?

Sassy Sez: I would be happy to help you figure out what type of gasket you need. Can you please look to the bottom of your pressure cooker and tell me everything you see written there? That will help me to know what type of PC you have - especially since it's an older one - and then I can check with my contact at Magefesa for further clarification of the type of gasket you should be using.
