Hi! I know you highly recommend the Vitamix for blending and other needs, but do you have a juicer recommendation?
Thanks!

Sassy Sez: - Hi Shanna! We have owned our Champion juicer for years and years. Such a great, solid, powerful machine! I recommend it for its power and longevity, for sures.
That said...
The Champion is loud and sort of a pain to clean, but since it's the only juicer I've ever had, I don't know how it compares to others.
If I were to buy a juicer these days, I would have to do some research on the topic to have a clear understanding of what is available. And this is what I recommend to you.
Sorry, not much help over here! But click here to visit DiscountJuicers.com. They do a fabulous job of explaining how to choose from the many juicers on the market today. xo
I got a Jack La Lanne Power Juicer and really like it. It's easier to clean than any other I have had. Hope this helps

Hurom Slow Juicer by: Nony Morgan
My old Vitamix and Champion juicers have been packed away for years because I've been traveling fulltime in a small RV. Oh wait - I think I gave the Champion to my sister. Anyway, I've been planning to get a new juicer when I come off the road again, so I've been reading a lot of reviews on juicers.
Up until recently I was going to get an Omega 8000 series juicer. However, lately I've read great reviews about the Hurom Slow Juicer. Here are some of the reasons I've decided to go with the Hurom:
* extracts more juice from veggies
* less oxidation because the slow juicing introduces less air - therefore no foam and better taste
* very quiet to operate
* can also make nut milks and rice milk
* easy to clean
* lightweight and more portable than heavier juicers
I haven't had a chance to try this juicer yet, but I'm familiar with and trust some of the people who have written reviews from their experiences.

Don't buy by: Meg
I have a Waring juicer that I am kind of disappointed in. It came recommended but it really wastes a lot of the fruit and veggies. I am going to try something else soon!

Vita Max (Mix!!) by: Maxine
This is my 1st juicer....its amazing! I make myself a shake every morning nutritional yeast, banana, almond milk and tons of ice cubes. In moments - I have all the delicious taste and fiber of all ingredients. I have made soups in it - it easy grinds in all fibrous veggies. I had a masticating juicer from Costco which I returned because it removes all the fiber.
I LOVE VITA MAX, I mean Mix!
[Note from Sass: Thanks, Maxine, for sharing with us. Just want to be clear for others reading this that the Vitamix is not actually a juicer but a very powerful blender. Since it can blend vegetables into a purely liquid state while retaining the fiber, many use it as a juicer substitute. xo]

VITA MIX every time! by: Gel
Just google what this machine can do. Don't take my word for it but this machine can do anything and it's SO easy to clean. I don't know how I managed without it!

Amazing by: Sassy
Hi Gel!
I agree, the Vitamix is superb. Until you own one, there really is no way to understand just how powerful and versatile it is.
I bought my Champion Juicer in 1989, It has outlasted one wife, 20 years with the 2nd wife, 10 cars, 2 houses. It even outlasted my 401k. Now that's amazing. And I've misplaced parts (never broke any) but got replacement parts easily. I even stopped by the offices in Lodi, Ca. to get parts. Truely Amazing. The company is great, the machine is great and the price has stayed reasonable over the years. I juicer is only as good as the company that makes it.
