Hi, I'm Patty Knutson, but my friends call me Sassy.    :)

I went vegan in 1994. Back then I was a superbly crappy cook! I sincerely didn't know anybody else who was a worse cook than me. I began my new-vegan life at ground zero (as in zero skills in the kitchen)! But over the years, through a lot of trial and error, I taught myself how to be vegan in a way that's really simple and works for my very busy lifestyle.

If you feel your cooking skills are lacking (like mine were way back then) or you feel like you're just missing something but you're not even sure what it is you need help with, please know I've been right where you are. The confusion can be debilitating!

So whether you're just starting out, have been around the block for a while, or are more "well seasoned", we'll meet you where you're at and help to make the learning curve a lot more bearable.

In our Vegan Coach world, we teach you the cooking style we've personally been using for years.

What does that mean?

We don’t figure out what we’re going to eat and THEN do the shopping. Instead, we do the shopping for what is fresh, in-season, and organic whenever possible, bring it all home, and THEN figure out what to make. It’s a big difference from the way many people are taught to run their kitchen through the use of recipes.

It's a FAR simpler way to live. You'll save so much time and money running your vegan kitchen this way.

But we understand it's not always easy to just dive into recipe-free cooking. There's a lot to learn. (But don't worry, because it's actually pretty simple -- hey, if I can do it, anybody can!)
