How does your website earn money?

I'm almost ready to buy. But how does the site actually earn money for you? I don't understand. And one other question - if you use SBI, are you required to post so much information about them on your site? I'm not against it, just wondering. Thanks!

Maybe this will help...

Hi there - I can't speak for other websites, but the way my website earns money is by first listening to my website visitors and then providing them the tools they need and request.

For instance, when my visitors started asking which pressure cooker I use, I set about doing everything I could to provide this information while making it convenient for them to purchase at the best price I could arrange.

My personal philosophy is that I do not offer anything for sale on my site that I personally do not use. And I think (hope?) my site visitors appreciate this - when they see something for sale on my site, they know it comes recommended to them through my own personal experience with what works.

So whatever topic you are considering creating a website about, that would be my best advice to you: think about what you use and have personal experience with that might help your website visitors. Keep it real. And keep it honest. And always keep your ears peeled, because your fantastic visitors will tell you what they want and need from you.

(And of course, SBI helps you to find ways that your website will make money when you first start out with the Action Guide, as mentioned on my SBI FAQ page.)

Oh! There are also other things like Google ads, which are easy to offer - I use them at the top of most pages, so if someone visits the site and it is not what they were looking for or expecting, they can see a link to another website, product, or service that might work better for them.

Regarding your last question, you absolutely do not have to share anything about SBI on your website. Once again, it was something my site visitors started asking about, so I offer it on one page of my site. (Personally, I am SO impressed with SBI and my entire website-building experience that I would love to share it on each and every page, but that would not necessarily be helpful to my site visitors so I keep it very low-key.)

Hope this helps, and please do let me now if I can answer any further questions for you. Good luck! xo
