Baked Celery

Making baked celery is a delicious way to enjoy your veggie, and can lead to lots of creative and fun recipes. Although it's usually used as one of many ingredients, it can also soak up the limelight and make an appearance front and center. :o)

If you plan on grating your celery or slicing very thin, it's ready to be baked. But if you'll be leaving it whole, or slicing or chopping into larger pieces, it will be best to saute your celery until crisp-tender first.

Your celery is now ready to be cooked in the oven. Combine with some of your favorite flavors from the Celery "Vegan Flavor Matches", then place into an oven-proof baking dish. Create a delectable sauce to pour over the top. Mix bread crumbs with vegan butter and spices to make a crunchy topping for a casserole.

Cooking at 350-375 degrees for 30-40 minutes should be sufficient for most dishes.
